Ah, that was a familiar face.

To Sothis of course, but she would not be familiar to Claude - for only the girl existed in the mind of his teacher. Though older, she could still recognize his demeanor from a mile away. He certainly stuck out in a crowd, that’s for sure. Whether or not that was a good thing... Well, she’ll leave that for Byleth to decide. The mercenary cared quite a deal about their students, and perhaps Sothis did to a degree.

Older or not, there was sure to be some mischief at hand from the noble. Indebted to Byleth, the young girl couldn’t allow him to just wander off and get into some kind of mess.

     “Finding some trouble, it would seem. If you get yourself      injured, you will only upset your teacher. You wouldn’t want      that, would you?”

          To be in a new land that they truly had no recollection of how they’ve gotten here, was hardly something to stomach. Perhaps, they have fallen asleep again without any sort of realization to it? Koi  Welcomed with warm arms, better than most places that they have been. Still, she knew to never keep her guard down. However, such worries would be washed away the moment she saw a familiar face.

        SHE   leaps down from her perch --- a sturdy tree, one whose foliage reminds her quite a bit of Brigid. She was wary at first, well aware of the strife Claude’s territory had been causing their army all these years... But the encounter was so similar to five years ago that it hurt her heart to be suspicious. She is relieved that his stance is relaxed, only slightly tensing when he seemed to become aware of a presence.

     moving was... HARD.      and you know what made it all the more difficult ?      having what had to be boxes upon literal BOXES of books that needed to be carried up into her apartment !      levy huffs heavily as she leans against the wall of the ground floor of the ‘ chamomile apartments ‘ building, her poor ( usually pale ) face having reddened with the amount of exertion and strength she’d been using to haul said boxes of tomes. why did she have to have so many books again ?      oh right, levy was a natural bookworm at heart and had a constant thirst for knowledge that just couldn’t be quenched, and what was a better source of learning than books ? well... there was that thing called the ‘ internet ‘ that she’d been learning how to use, it was FULL of learning materials as well-- just the issue was that some of it was either outdated or outright false !      ❝ phew... three boxes down, who knows how many left to go ! ❞      surely there’s got to be someone who’ll come by that won’t mind offering a helping hand, right ? right ? no, really. please help her.

           Fingers flip a page of the book resting on her lap, a temporary escape from all that has happened thus far in this place. Attention would-be focus, however, by the sound of her doorknob turning. Eyes glance up for a moment before turning her attention back to the page, she had not been surprised over Claude present. Byleth had been the one that invited him over, no matter how many times they’ve seen his face. 

          They could never grow tired of it, it’s was always refreshing to them. — Taking a seat next to them, Byleth could sense his eyes on her for some time now, their lips almost part, they had the plan to ask If there had been something on her face but instead he broke the silence with words so sweet that she immediately stopped what she had been doing.

          Such compliments were not new to the maiden, she had received such a thing often from people. Yet, it had felt different when hearing him say those words. She feels the slightest bit of heat upon her features at his words, lips curving into a smile and with a soft voice, she utters a reply.
