We’re still hiding away in the Gatineau Hills, resting mostly. I feel like I’m unwinding: I’m actually a bit embarrassed to admit that that 6 months of city-bound pandemic life has done a fucking number on me. I don’t how to “me”, or how to “home” anymore, if that even makes sense. The city noise and density and selfishness/thoughtlessness has become impossible to deal with and we are planning to get out, ASAP. I don’t know how or where to yet, but it’s now a non-negotiable. I haven’t heard anything louder than crickets and blue jays for 5 days and I think I’m starting to come back around. The first burst of productivity that I’ve had in weeks resulted in a bunch of lovely shots of new jewellery that I’m super excited to share. The first of these, this Sprout ring, joined my #etsyshop today, link in bio if you’d like a closer look. That golden labradorite is bananas. I made this ring during my live-streaming sessions at the #etsymadelocal online show at the beginning of the month. That feels like a year ago. What is it with time this year? Anyhow, there’s more new work coming, and change is in the air. Thank god... 🔮 ... #goldenlabradorite #sprouts #recycledgold #ladysmith #statementring #artisanjewellery #etsymadelocalcanada #timewarp #latesummervibes https://www.instagram.com/p/CEVV0JgBHpy/?igshid=5vt4v1nw63dh
