October is nearly here! This month we are following a semi conceptual trick or treat theme, that will be both sweet and sour. Starting off we are looking at the spirits lurking in your house (metaphorically).

My Full Moon Eclipse in Scorpio Ritual (Samhain)

In Australia, Saturday 6th is the southern Hemispheres date for Samhain, this just so happened to fall in the powerful Full moon Eclipse in Scorpio.

That’s a lot of spooky energy right there, and I used it all in a ritual tonight. This is what I did and how it went down:

I started by casting a circle. using the energy of the earth, the divine aether realm and my own personal energy in a mix to cast this circle, i cast it around my whole room.

I released any old toxic, negative and stagnant energy and thoughts from myself and my life. I did this by creating a sigil that would trap in the negativity, and then started letting a lot of negative things come up within me to be sucked into the sigil. very powerful and transformative. I then lit the sigil on fire to burn it from my life.

I invoked the “spirit of the witch” and consecrated myself with moon, sun and storm water. I personally believe in something I call “spirit of the witch”, the all encompassing archetype of the witch that flows through every mystic, esoteric and occult practitioner and every witch that has come before me. I then got skyclad and then dumped the water all over me to consecrate myself with the spirit and then started dancing (i’d never done anything like that before)

Finally, I opened myself up to the world of the spirits and consecrated a ouija board. Yes I know, I know. I’m crazy. But I love this ouija board, and I love to use them, to connect with myself and spirits.

I Consecrated this with the elements; the sun/moon/storm water to represent water, a candle for fire, incense smoke for air and graveyard dirt for earth. I can’t wait to use it and see how it goes with contacting spirits. (I made sure only spirits of a harmless nature can be contacted through this)

So yeah this is what I did, probably one of the biggest rituals i’ve ever done. I loved working with this energy and I can’t wait to see the results.
