Blade is an interesting case, when it comes to touch, because it's not something he really craves - that is, until he finds that special someone, whose touch makes him feel warm, comfortable, then he will start to crave touch, like a man drowning, but you won't catch him admitting that openly. However, it will be seen in most of his reactions to being touched by that person. When it comes to strangers touching him, he pretty much feels nothing, but doesn't welcome it either. He will make it pretty clear that he is not a fan of it, with his gaze alone, which can scare most grown men and women away, if that is what he desires.

Dabi on the other hand, greatly dislike touch from people, who are not close to him or, who hasn't got his mental approval yet. He will burn someone's hand, if they suddenly touch him out of nowhere, if it's someone, he doesn't know or has any feelings on due to the physical abuse he received as a child. However, those he does approve of and who, he secretly or knowingly, consider his friends, are very much allowed to touch him. He is touch-starved, despite how he react to people touching him. If it's a loved one, then he is like a cat and will demand touch / attention that will undoubtedly lead to what he desire.

What sorts of things soothes them when they’re worked up?

Pre-onset Erosion, there wasn't much that could get Retuo 'worked up'. It truly took a lot to get under their scales (hahah). It was mostly during the Archon War and when Erosion symptoms were on full display, that got them more 'emotional'.

The company of someone they enjoy usually helps them calm down. Talking them down from an emotional high usually works until late stage Erosion made them inconsolable.

As for Azhdaha, not much riles them up either. Actually, I can't think of much that would ruffle their feathers leaves. Even Liyue or Zhongli being in danger would be dealt with fairly calmly.

baizhu heard stories from the travelers of enemies teleporting too and fro and appearing randomly, which honestly sounded quite frightening. still, the doctor wasn't too worried about hidden enemies given the adeptus joined him on his trip to deliver medicine to one of the remote villages of liyue. one simply couldn't let their guard down just because of that though, and baizhu was prepared to fight if need be.

though it's been a few weeks since the official ending to the poetry festival between liyue and mondstadt, the influx of travel that it had brought along with it has remained fairly steady in its aftermath. and it is good to see the event's purpose fulfilled, so wholly. as such, it is hardly a surprise to see the wangshu inn bustling with travelers and tourists, each one seemingly more wide-eyed than the last upon reaching the inn's impressive terraces.

it is a delight to see, truly. liyue is beautiful; and people should experience it.

thankfully, the man, zhongli, is no one of note, only recognizable to a few scattered regulars and the staff. it is easy for him to meander through the crowds with relative ease. and upon arriving at the inn's front desk proper, he gives a gentle nod in greeting to the owner, verr, before he heading up another flight of stairs to somewhere quieter.

of course, he will hardly be alone up there—

and in truth, neither does he wish to be. and as he is in no hurry, he takes him time settling in, eyes moving out over the railing toward the brilliant horizon as he waits for his usual order to be brought served. it is enough for two though he still sits alone, notably. and when, at last, it is set before him, he begins eating in comfortable silence, pointedly graceful... before— finally— speaking, though no one is seemingly there.

" don't tell me the recent commotion has made you tire of visitors. " it is an invitation for xiao to make himself known, to join him.

Getting a a bit more serious, the harbinger smirked ever so slightly as his demeanor changed, showing that he wasn't about to jab at the shorter male, with the words resting upon his tongue, even if that was always amusing to do so.

❝ I appreciate strength and I would be lying if I said that he isn't strong, which is something attractive in my eyes. It's just too bad that he doesn't want to properly fight me, which is why, until now, I have simply observed. However, despite his cold façade, he is very easy on the eyes. ❞

A light chuckle, that was muffled by slender digits, escaped the tall male's lips upon hearing the statement, that awoke amusement in his clad chest, where a beautiful figure-tailored jacket could be seen, with dark fur around the neck of it. It was an expensive piece and one, that Pantalone himself had requested. Boots, with a bit of heel, pressed lightly into the snow below. What was hidden underneath, were a few bandages, that told of an assassination attempt ── something, that his little bodyguard was making a fuss about or, rather, his dear Doctor, no doubt. After all, if something was to seriously happen to Pantalone, then his funds would fall into the abyss and most likely not recover. The wound wasn't a serious one, it had just come as a surprise as the harbinger hadn't expected anyone to be so bold. It had ended with his attacker getting pierced by geo, through the chest. However, even without his delusion, everything would have been fine. Yes, he wasn't as well experienced in combat as some of the others, his skills laid mainly in trading, controlling the market, selling and buying and expanding their business, but that didn't mean he didn't know how to protect himself or fight, after all, it was a skill, he had very much needed, even as a mere child.

❝ Did the dear Doctor tell you this? ❞ Even if that was the case, Pantalone reached out and ruffled his bodyguard's hair. Usually, this was followed by a 'good boy', but this time, the harbinger simply smiled, with a small chuckle vibrating within his throat.

Of course, Pantalone had bought a jacket for his little pet too, the other wouldn't be much of a bodyguard if he suddenly got sick.
