Necromancy/Resurrection
Skeptical?
The dark cranes his neck, stretching and considering the topic.
āVery⦠peculiar. Theworlds I find these talents within are full of what is almost always referredto as magic and some are always interested in practicing necromancy. Finding ause for a body by reanimating it is⦠somewhat ingenious. A rotting body slowlyreturning to its origins is not as useful to its brethren as one that can moveand perform actions.
āBut often I find that theconscious or soul of the deceased returns to the body when this happens. Itāsā¦unsettling, and denies the gods the souls that belong to them, at least for atime.
āWorlds of knowledge andscience are far more common in my travels. Resurrection within those worlds isusually limited to those that have⦠recently stopped being able to sustainthemselves. A little nudge to make their bodies functional again has littleconsequence. But in the lands of magic, when one has been dead for an extendedperiod of timeā¦ā Heād shake his head. āIt is often a deal or trade of some sortand rarely fair to anyone involved.
āThese are subjects thatmortals should really leave alone.ā
