I really love midnight prompt for any apostasy character.

Apostasy; Troublemaker, Radiowave, & Goldhide; #4 - “I really love midnight” from this list.

She had a tendency to walk the halls at night. She couldn't help it - it was in her veins, in her sparkborn name. Troublemaker could wear her mask all she liked, but she knew in her core that she was-

"Trouble, baby, I appreciate the keeping us safe mojo, but please lift up your feet. Your thumping is bad for my beauty sleep," Radiowave whined from her hab suite door, leaning against it as it opened.

"Sorry, 'wave, I'm just doin' a security patrol in case somethin' from the lab breaks out or...somethin'," Troublemaker replied. She wasn't good for plausible excuses right now.

"Ugh, lightning child getting all fritzy," Radiowave grumbled, stomping out of her room and getting behind Troublemaker. Radiowave pushed Troublemaker to the security office of the ship, "There. You can watch the cameras with Goldy Boyo and I can get my sleep without you thundering everywhere, gods forsaken lightning child."

Troublemaker opened her mouth to argue, but Radiowave was already stomping away. Troublemaker flushed when she heard Goldhide chuckle. "She finally called you out on your nightly walks, huh? Guess I win the bet - Mixjam was sure it was gonna be Agnomen, but I'm pretty damn sure the boss sleeps like a rock," Goldhide chuckled. "C'mon, sit your anxious aft down in the chair and talk, pretty bird."

"...please don't call me that. Trouble works as a nickname, it helps-just Trouble, okay?" she said, sitting down in the chair next to him, keeping her optics on the screens.

"It helps what now? C'mon, Trouble, just let out the screamin' hyena."

"The screamin' what now?"

"Metaphor, don't worry about it. Just...talk to me. You been doin' this since we lifted off." Goldhide tapped his audio and wiggled it for her. “C’mon, you talk to the big ole sheeple. Got a gold plated vault for secrets.”

"...space really is kind of a mystery, isn't it? There's things Speedway can't explain sometimes and he's always tappin' away at his notes to try to figure this stuff out, but...stuff's hidden to us."

"...you're like Thunderstrike, ain't ya?"

"We've...discussed things, yes. But...y'know, at the same time, we don't know those things about space because we're not ready for it, y'know? No tools to know and explore it, so it's cold and...well, space."

"A big black nothing and everything that could, in fact, kill an unsuspecting person, depending on their makeup and species and all that what not?" Troublemaker raised an eyebrow at him. Goldhide shrugged. "You realize I have spent 20-30 plus with Equilibrium, yeah? The science rubs off on ya after a year."

"Uh huh. I guess...sometimes I love the fact that space is both known and unknown, y'know? Like...I dunno, s'hard to explain-"

"Troublemaker, I thought you made trouble. Not ran into it like a pyro into a fireball."

"Heh. Sometimes it runs into me, sometimes I run into it-"

"Yeah, I saw that this mornin', you were a flushing mess. You're lucky boss was too busy pickin' up their slag to notice you runnin' for your Primus damn life."

"Look...I'm just sayin' to be careful, Trouble. I love the midnight too, but damn if it doesn't come with its monsters."
