That a relief! I've been following you for awhile and I really like your blog so I was sooo disappointed when I thought maybe you were one of those people who were more upset about the riots than the death. I'm glad I was wrong.

Thanks, I just like so many people tonight am just numb. It’s unbelievable, honestly. Our parents talked about the riots in the sixties...it’s so much different when its a reality. The whole situation is hard to put into words.

Because Freddie Gray’s family pleadedfor peace and the city we love is falling down around us. I’m upset that themayor went on TV and called the rioters thugs. That there was two hours of newscoverage of a burning police car and they played the footage of the policetaking off their helmets when the peaceful protestors got to their line at Fultonand North Ave once and only once. I’m upset that there are mothers all throughdowntown tonight that have to worry about their children’s safety. That evenwhen this is all over they still have to worry. That this the world we livein. Yes I’m upset. I’m upset because I love Baltimore. Because tonight I’mscared for Baltimore. It hurts to see the people of this city in so much pain.This never should have happened. Freddie Gray should still be alive. So manythings are wrong in the world right now so yes. I’m upset.
