☞But how do you take care of a baby- || Closed; Beatrice
Unlike most of those who recently found out that they had survived a nuclear bomb and was now left with the duty of making a baby, Theodore did not go out to wander the streets and wonder how such an unfortunate thing could happen to him. He had always known that the denizens of this world had numerous destructive weapons at their disposal, and that they were prone to acts of sheer folly at the turn of a dime--it was only a matter of time before they led themselves to their own demise.
Survivors were inevitable, and because of that Theo had no worries--he had prayed at the shrine on one of the few outings he had had with Minako long ago; he had prayed for her safety and, in turn, she prayed for her friends' safety; they were protected for all eternity, and absolutely nothing could harm them. So--getting over the fact that there was a nuclear bomb? Check. Going on with the knowledge that certain people are actually still alive? Check. Now came the final and...hard part.
Having a baby with somebody he would only recently meet was...absurd. How could he possibly accept a task like that without any qualms?
"..."
So now here Theo was, pacing back and forth in the apartment while grumbling incoherently to himself, his cheeks flushed red and his brows furrowed worriedly. Such a thing was immoral, was it not? Even though he was one who accepted his duties without any problems, he couldn't accept something like this- absolutely not! He didn't even know how to take care of babies, and what if the mother didn't know how to either? That would be bad. But then, that's jumping to the conclusion that they were even going to try and have a baby.
Theodore smooths his hair down with a hand and lets out a small sigh; well, it was no use pondering over it by himself. Maybe he could talk about it with his spouse...whoever she may be. She should be coming home at any time now; no matter how long he had to wait, he would, and with that in mind Theo found a spot to stand and wait, his eyes fixated on the front door.
....Any minute now....
