Pet Sitter overfed... how fast can I do water changes?

Hey fishblr, my pet sitter overfed my goldfish and the tank is super cloudy now. I checked the perameters and there are a lot of nitrates and a little ammonia (ph and temp is good though).

I did a 50% water change 3 days ago amd throughouly washed the filters. I also bought a 2nd filter to help get through the waste build up. Today I added some nitrate reducing pebble things to the filters.

Should I hold off on another water change? I don't want to stress my fish out too much with a ton of water changes. They were overfed for more than a week 😓. The water is slightly clearer, I can make out the back of the tank now (yeah it was that bad). My bigger goldy Spham is swimming alright and foraging in the substrate as normal. Peter, my smaller one has been sitting at the bottom of the tank, but this morning started swimming a little more.

Should I do another water change? Or should I wait for a week and just do another 50% change?

I'm really unsure and terrified... I've already lost 1 fish from my other tank, I don't want to lose anyone else. :( any advice is appreciated, but please be gentle I love my babies and I just want to save them.

Full details of tank: 55 gallons with 2 common goldfish, 4 plants, gravel substrate, and 2 penguin biowheel filters.

Water this morning: ph 7.6, Nitrates <40 but >80ppm, Ammonia 0.25ppm.
