Quick update from me on what’s to come this season after a very wet winter… I’ve decided not to defend the Royal Hampton Court win from last year this week in the DGA due to injured knees which I may add are being sorted and looking after a poorly mum… BUT… I have entered the @england.golf open for golfers with disabilities and the @thegolftrust Open along with DGA tour matches around the south and south west. Got my cook on tonight… Cooking up a storm tonight… Monk Fish herb crusted medallions, sweet potato and puy lentil mash, with dill cream split with a lemon fennel butter and samphire… I’ve had oysters to start, and doing Moule Mariniere for my niece (who also had her first Oyster, she liked it “Bordeaux style”…. So good getting out on the course yesterday, the @islandgreenuk clothing was so warm on a day where it didn’t get over 3* Celsius, and so comfortable and most definitely looked dapper. Was great to be out with the bothers, somewhat aching today in my neck, shoulder and knee but the meds should kick in soon. So enjoyed this time with the boy on Saturday, I thought I took a lot of pics and vids when I was out on the course but blimey there were so many to pick from, one conversation was… “I hope I’m really good like you one day P” I said “you’re going to go pro and earn lots of money but when you do don’t forget me” and Dom said “you can be my person”, me “your person?” Dom “yes that follows me around”, “oh, you caddie” Dom “yes just my person”.
