Gaetano Pesce, “Carenza bookcase,” 1972,
This piece of furniture should be considered as a monument to the fervid imagination of Gaetano Pesce. Designed for the furnishings of the home of Professor Carenza (a personal friend of Pesce), it can be considered the stylistic archetype of the "Golgolta" series of furniture.
Published in "La rivista dell'arredamento. Interni", July/August 1979, pg. 15, fig. 12. The bookcase covered an entire wall of the apartment in Via Rialto in Padua.
