I have wanted to say this for a very, very long time, but always felt too intellectually incompetent to do so properly, but I greatly admire you. I admire the way you are always able to give such intelligent and thoughtful insight into the world of fandom. I seek your words out as a way to nourish my understanding of this incredible phenomenon which has revealed such overwhelming talent in the form of writers and artists such as yourself.

Wow, thank you so much, @golikethatcat! That really does mean a lot to me, especially since I’m such a great admirer of your gorgeous, emotionally powerful Thor/Loki art. I still remember how thrilled I was when you included my fic “Desert Flowers” as one of the book titles in your tribute painting to Thorki writers for a fanfiction authors appreciation event last year. I was still quite new and largely unknown in the fandom (hell, I still am), and I was incredibly honored and flattered to be named alongside the most famous, popular, and acclaimed authors.
