i tried one of these and it hurted my tummy but it tasted good
i finally got a night fury head pattern that i'm happy with... it took MANY drafts, as well as studying others that are included in the various NF sewing patterns out there.

it's defintely not perfect (i'm suspecting a slightly goofy appearance is just endemic to translating this shape into plush form), but i'm pretty pleased with this iteration, especially compared to the last attempt.
not sold on the safety eyes, however. they were a lucky find, so i thought they were worth a shot at least. i think thread sculpting them to pull into the head more could be an option, but i'm also concerned that it would disrupt the head shape too much. maybe it would be different if i was using a fabric with more pile, instead of fleece. i may remake the head once more with the fabric eyes i did last time. we'll see...
