Gon had a look of embarrassment upon his face as he turned to look over at Killua, shooting him a sheepish looking grin. The country boy had been trying to scare Killua, but his plan had backfired. And instead he managed to get his foot stuck within the toilet as a just result.

Perhaps this was what Karma had intended for him all along.

“Oh would you shut up! Help me out here!” Gon exclaimed, his face becoming more agitated as he pulled on his leg, trying to get his foot unstuck from the toilet bowl.

Gon frowned as he thought about the Zoldyck household. In all honesty, it was sickening to the enhancer just how nasty their home was. And Gon hated the way Killua had been treated. Thanks to his family, the transmuter never was able to experience real love or true affection.

It angered him.

“You will never have to live like that again, Killua. I promise that I will set you free.” In truth, he was not sure how he was going to do that. But he would try. After all, he wanted to do his very best for the transmuter. He deserved a lot more within his life.

He had been through far too much.

Gon wanted to show him a happier and better life. One filled with laughter and love. He will never have to be tortured again.

“You have no idea what I am capable of!” Gon said with a growl escaping his lips. “I may not be able to fix him, but I can save him!” This girl was getting under his skin. He rather disliked it when others claimed that he could not do anything and acted as though he were powerless.

Gon knew that he could not fix Killua. But he knew that he could be there for him. And he always would be. The transmuter was his best friend, after all. 

“Besides... I will never know unless I try!”
