A stand off with a large #malekangaroo last week, a rendezvous with #redbelliedblacksnake today, delight at the distinct calls of the #easternwhipbird in the #gondwanarainforest, and a nice #photoop with this very hungry #azurekingfisher that was flirting around us as we sat (in the background in the upper left corner) admiring at the views of the #baxterfalls; the exploration of #australianfauna alone is worth all the pain on our, what locals call, #walkinthepark.
