Ok so its time for a little fun…. Meet – The Bandit. Eager to live out my inner geek I picked up this Traxxas Bandit VXL earlier this week and will soon be setting about some cool modifications so thought it’d be worthwhile photographing it while it is still in it’s stock guise. I took The Bandit for it’s first spin yesterday and was blown away at how much fun it is. With the only non standard item being the Anaconda street tyres (as seen in this shot) The Bandit was easily ripping around my local park at over 55km/h. With an upgraded 33/76 gear combination and an 11.1v Lipo 3S power cell The Bandit will easily be pushing 125+ km/h but where it will really show it’s colours is on the jumps so I’ll be (hopefully) learning how to finely tune and modify it’s suspension set up. It’s not common that I would post this kind of image but I expect that The Bandit might double up as a pretty fun action model for the occasional creative action shoot when I don’t have time to get away.
