Had a li'l tea party for two over chat with @kim_qi_78. We dipped into @mountain_stream_teas Taiwanese sheng cha. It was my first time dipping into my cake. This entire time I was skeptical that it was *all* Shan Cha (Taiwan wild cultivar) lead material ... but then I tasted it. . . With each steep, the flavor started off like a regular assamica-based sheng, but then it did this sharp turn towards wintergreen notes in the top note. The aftertaste was stone-fruity, but the hui gan was cooling. I boiled and filtered the #hail and made it into #tea because weird. It has a wonderful mouthfeel and I feel like I'm just tasting tea, no minerals, it's fun! #gongfoolery

Drinking @denongtea 2005 Ginseng Decent Scent #shou #puerh finishing a session I started last night. It is very rich and sweet, I do love me some shou. Using my new #serpentinite #gaiwan which holds heat like a boss. Now I need a glass gaiwan so I can test stone, clay, porcelain and glass in a gaiwan #gongfoolery though it might be a bit of a wait since I'm broke and there is a vintage gaiwan I found on etsy I want before someone else buys it.
