I wish I was as excited for the new season as everyone else but rn it just comes in short bursts of excitement with new bts we get, but overall I can't really get excited about anything, just mostly feeling numb, and I'm so tired of feeling like this jfc 😭

ugh a year ago, a coworker told me how he got an invitation to some rich customer’s boat party. he was a regular customer, very wealthy, and one day he was throwing a party, happened to stop by our workplace, and told my coworker he could come too. every since then I’ve been low-key trying to get invited to something really cool and I think I missed my chance today. today at work I was helping this older woman. she had long false eyelashes, glittery makeup, and I noticed her long acrylic nails were halloween themed so I complimented her and we started talking about how much we love halloween. so she’s telling me about all the decorations she hand-makes and I asked her if she had the “12 foot skeleton from home depot” and she goes “NO! I have a 14 foot skeleton!” and she keeps going on and on about the halloween party she’s throwing and I was too shy to ask, “can I come to your party?” even though sometimes we joke about things like that with customers but I just told her at the end of the transaction, “good luck with your party!” but ugh, the party I imagined her throwing is the exact type of stranger’s party I want to be invited to
