This is not a #JoeBudden diss or an attack at his character. It was july 2012 and I was still in college taking a summer class. Me and Joe Budden already built somewhat of a relationship after we did a song on my first album called #GonnaGetUs so i contacted Krystal his manager at the time to see if Joe would be available for my video shoot and album release party. Once she told me yes I took the first greyhound back to #NYC to prepare the shoot etc. I really thought it was gonna be my big break lol smh the whole greyhound bus i legit prayed and thanked God. I just knew Joe was gonna show me love and take me under the wing. So were at the shoot Joe pulls up and were all laughing having a good time. And then the drugs kick in. At this time it was before love and hip hop so i had no idea he was addicted his whole demeanor changed in a matter of minutes in my video (straight to the head) you see him slouching on the couch he stayed on his phone the whole time and didn't wanna be invloved in the shoot anymore his attitude got bad. He was booked for the shoot for an hour or 2 but he left after like 30 minutes, mind you i had to pay him 1,500 to be there for 2 hours. I told him how much it meant to me and how all i needed was a chance i just remember him barely being coherent, his attitude just being all over and me just going home and holding back tears and eventually crying. When the video came out i thanked him and asked him what he thought to check it out etc. Just to eventually see he blocked me on all social medias.
