2 Manhwa recommendations
So, I’ve been going through a dry spell in my reading recently, just unmotivated to read anything. So I decided o check out that Webcomic app. Its a mixed bag of stuff but 2 that I stumbled across. Both have rather simple stories but are great fun to read.
The first is Gonsu. Its a martial arts adventure series that recently finished. It follows the story of Gang Yong who was trained by one of the greatest martial artist. When his master dies, Gang Yong vows to hunt down the people who betrayed his master. Unfortunately for him they’re already dead. And the series follows his misadventures from there. It starts out being a comedy but slowly becomes more about life or death fights. The characters are fun as well and the MC doesn’t hog all the spotlight. I will say the translation is a bit rough but not too bad to be unreadable.

The other is called Unholy Blood. Its an action series with small bits of romance. I also found that its called White Blood on some parts of the internet. Anyways the story follow Hayan Park a pure-blood vampire who just wants a normal life. However when tragedy strikes, Hayan makes it her mission to crush the vampire preying on people of S. Korea. Smaller cast than Gonsu most are simply side characters aside from Captin Hwang, leader of a vampire hunter task force. The vampires don’t act have the same weakness as traditional vampires but there are some interesting twist to them that make them a threat. The translation is better than Gonsu.
