A quick confession before the second round... It actually hurt me when Karel was pitted against Takumi since they both are precious units for me in Heroes. But as a coward, I almost have never played older fire emblem before because I'm scared of letting anyone die, thus I've never played Karel. My first ever fire emblem was Fates and Takumi is probably the first unit in there that I nurtured so much that he literally one shot everything in my standard run. He's just...special...too special that I cried literally in my Conquest run for defeating him. I was simply ecstatic when I drew him in heroes along with Azura. I like Leo more, but Takumi still holds a special place in my heart. Now Karel, well, he's among one of the first 5 stars unit I got in Heroes and I was a bit afraid to use him. Yet he proved times and again how reliable he becomes even when he's in low hp. This guy literally pulled me through my first and second tempest trial. So, yes, I really like this guy as well. The voting gauntlet literally slayed me by pitting them together in the 1st round. Sure, I support Takumi (with Leo of course) but I wished that Karel does not meet Takumi at all. So to sum it up, I like them both and I want to pat them both along with their supporters and just say, "It's a good battle! You both did excellent!"
