Today was a good day, the day we marched for our lives. I participated in the march taking place in Philly, March 24. I went with my friend and her mother. We went into the City by train, I knew it was going to have a huge turn out because the train was PACKED. Every seat was taken and it got to the point where there was no standing room at all. I sat next to an older woman who had a sign that said “#NeverAgain”. My friend sat in front of me next to this older guy who was friendly. We ended up not actually buying the ticket (because we were going to buy the ticket on the train) because the conductor couldn't walk through the train carts.

Then we got to our stop, we ended up going to this market that had everything, there was meat, there were tarot cards, there were soups, there were cloths, there was anything you could think of. We went to the bathrooms then headed to Central Philly where the march was starting. My friend had a Meme poster (the meme with the guy checking the girl out while the girlfriend is upset. The girlfriend was labeled “scared teens” the dude was labeled “NRA” and the rando chick was labeled “more money” it was funny) and I made a poster saying “The only thing easier to buy than a Gun is a Politician". People took a lot of pictures of both of ours, we waited at the starting point before we started. The turnout was amazing, so many people came, it was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.
