Rennah has been found wanting, and rather than be broken to fit into the Pact's Mold, she escapes to the world she knows is dangerous. There she finds a series of people she finds intriguing, who might be able to help her fix the ways the outside world is broken, so that The Pact will no longer be needed to be her people's protective cage. 🎾 Artifacts In the 1980s America was at the top of its game. It was poised to lead the world into a new age of prosperity. Then late on a hot, Summer night, an American Astronomer detects a signal from a cosmic void, and everything changes. The first big change seems to be the laws of reality, but only for the people who are suddenly finding devices that give them super powers. Dubbed Artifacts, these devices can be any physical object light enough to be carried. Before the US Government can come up with a plan there are Immortal sword wielding knights, sneaker heads who can run faster than the speed of light, axe wielding women who can track any living person regardless of their efforts to hide, and pro-wrestling werewolves. And those are just some of the American Heroes, who knows what America's allies are debuting with, or more worryingly, their enemies. These tiny creatures are so entertaining, and bending the sapient ones to your will? What more scintillating a pastime could there be? 18+/Furry/Sci-Fi

It's weird to have been in a coma and almost died twice this year. It's weird to be disabled now. It's weird to not look like myself anymore, or sometimes even feel like myself.

I watched Good Fortune today. Super cute movie. It resonated. I, too, want to have hope for my life. Even though it's hard sometimes.

I had interesting interactions with fast food employees today. Some people are cool as hell and doing their best despite shitty jobs and coworkers and circumstances. I tell people when they are awesome, and I thank them for being kind. It's amazing to see such a stark contrast between people who care and people who don't.

I remember working those jobs too. Crazy to think I might not even be able to do that now. I don't know what I will do now. But I want to share joy and make people happy. That would make me happy.
