Sea honse!
I'm just fully treating ArtFight as an excuse to see what kinds of things I can do with the new brown paper sketchbook.
This one is for @ravennowithtea of their character Biscuit.
This was a bit experimental colour wise. I've loved using this white brush pen thingy (Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pen Brush) on this sketchbook, and was wondering if I could color on top of the white for effect. Couldn't find my watercolors, so the closest other thing I had at hand was a green highlighter, which, uh, isn't exactly the correct color for the character, but the process was fun!
You can, in fact, do lighting with the white and put flat colors on top of it.
