Blue: What song do you listen to when you're feeling down?

Something upbeat. Usually pop music.

Both, lately I've been sucking up coffee like it's going out of style. 

English: How many languages can you speak?

One: English. However, I took 4 years of Spanish in high school (wish I retained it but I only remember bits and pieces of it).

Game: What was the last board game you played?

Scrabble.

This is embarrassing. "Sedna: Goddess of the Seas" by my former teacher, Joel Rudinger. (Embarrassing cuz it's only the 3rd book I've read this year.)

Yes, but I'm not interested in it for myself. But I do believe marriage is overrated. It's not the only form of love, it's not the only form of a relationship. (Nor do I think it is based in religion.)

Money: What would you do with 1 million dollars?

Pay off all my bills, take a trip around the world, donate money to charity, buy my parents something nice, buy a cozy little place.

I'm a left-identified person living with 2 religious conservatives. Let's not have this conversation right now.

The corrupt political system in my country.

songsofwolves, our fandoms are SO dissimilar most days but I love her blog for the arts side. Also, she has forced me to reconsider my previous black/white political thinking and realize the world comes in shades of grey, and that grey can be murky but that doesn't mean it should be dismissed just because the answer isn't clear-cut or easy.

mizshellytee, I dont always agree with her but she reminds me that education is continual, never to forget about people on the fringes, to always remain political and aware even if its just through reblogging.

*note: I've known both Val and Shelly from pre-tumblr days, both for several years now. yes, I'm being biased choosing them, except their tumblrs have both challenged and inspired me way more than my friendships with them on other forums/sites ever has.

dustyspringfields. (it is and forever will be the URL I associate with you Ana!). One of my first tumblr friends. Love of women, love of the weird, love of the unconventional, love of strong people. Sometimes tumblr blogs all seem to look alike after awhile because we all seem to have shared fandoms, but I will never mistake her blog for anybody's elses. I love her passion, and her embrace of being yourself when tumblr screams you should look like and behave like everyone else. She reminds me that I should never apologize for liking the things I like, even if nobody else who follows me gives a rat's ass about them.

I have no interest in sports, unless it's a Hollywood sports film making it look mythological and important.

Nope.

Yellow: What's your favourite colour?

I used to say blue, but I also think that stemmed from feeling blue (I've posted about having depression before). I'd say pink and yellow probably. My room is yellow with pops of pink. I always choose themes that are pink. Yellow is just a lovely refreshing colour (also certain shades of it are like the shade of pages in older books).

Zoo: What is your favourite animal?

Cats!
