do you feed good memories or do you just leave it in the hollow eye

Hmm...

Well, I cannot exactly get to it easily right now, due to it being trapped within that alternative universe... so I suppose no, but that doesn't mean it cannot feed itself.

I do not know much about what it does or why it does it, because I obviously cannot observe it while it is in that alternative universe.

But, from little that I have studied, it just feeds off the membranes within the hollow eye's body.

Which, therefore, compels the hollow eye to feed on the nutrients and minerals around it, which it does so by pulling rubble and corpses to the centre of it's pupil to be devoured, much like a tractor beam.

This heals it, allowing it's membranes to reform, allowing Good Memories to begin the feasting process all over again.

I suppose you could say they are in a state of symbiosis, which negatively affects the enviroment around them, after all, that universes minerals and well, infrastructure, are finite, and will run out eventually.

That is why I had to banish it to that alternate realm, my very goal is to prevent the end of this world, Good Memories only hastens it, as long as it refuses to mature that is.

You see, It is a fetus, and the Hollow Eye is it's egg, it was supposed to break out of it and fly around freely once it was fully matured, but it seems to be taking an unexpectedly long time to do so.

Perhaps it already has matured?

Perhaps it simply is scared to come out of the Hollow Eye and face the rest of it's reality?

Perhaps it feels more comfortable in stagnation?

Pity.

Pitiful creature.

I thought well to banish it from here.

It would have been a burden and a drain on resources.

Besides, it's not like that alternate universe wasn't on the brink of destruction anyway.

The alternative version of me in that world failed to complete her goals... well, she did technically succeed at completing them...but... it wasn't.....

....she ended up alone because of them...

she failed to make this world into a perfect, orderly utopia like I aim to do...

and her brother abandoned her... leaving her alone, bound to this world due to the world ring she created leaving both her and her world inseperable...

her only company are the Hollow Eye and the hundreds of corpses now... and even those will waste away eventually... but she...

she will still be there...

waiting...

alone...

in complete darkness......

forever....

Oh, what am I thinking? Of course her fate was avoidable, she... she simply did it all wrong! Obviously! This... this is a mission worth undertaking, in fact it's worth more than anything at all!

I can, and will, prevent disaster.
