I don't remember the event, because a name includes reputation and memory, but thinking about what must have happened...

I suppose in the strictest sense of the word steal they did not steal, because they need the victim to willingly let them know their name.

But 'twas stolen in the sense that I had no intention of forfeiting ownership of my name and had every intention of retaining ownership of my name, and the result of them having ownership was a result of deceit and malicious trickery.

I think, at least.

It's possible I wanted to have my name taken.

Again, no memories of that event are in my possession.

remember when Hayley Raso got her nose broken to bits in Australia, had surgery, then flew all the way to London to begin at Everton, then COVID came, and she flew immediately back to Australia? Not sure why her situation was that different from Caitlin, Sam, or Chloe but she went back to Australia immediately

Remember when and it was less than three months ago😢 But yeah that was a crazy unfolding of events. I cant remember how long she was at Everton before covid struck but between the nose and everything else I guess she was less settled in the UK and had less reason to stay. As in Sam Kerr had Nikki and Chloe also had her gf over so there was more of an incentive to stay. In Caitlin's case she decided to stay and move in with Lia which turned out to be a great move. Also I'd imagine that different clubs would have had different policies, I know Matt Beard let the West Ham lot all go home but other teams might have preferred players to stay closer by just in case (at least Europe-based)

so, i found Dragon Eclipse a month or so ago, and binge-read it that same night until about three in the morning, and just a few days ago had a thought. I know Kisuke and Kaito both came together to work on changing Kaito's appearance, but what about his voice? He still sounds the same, doesn't he? Wouldn't Ichigo and Uryuu notice that, especially since Kaito and Uryuu are in the same room fairly often?

Something that I never actually mentioned too much in the beginning of DE is that the merging of Uryuu and Ichigo resulted in more changes than just the hair color? I talk about it a lot more in Shattered Eclipse and in the side story Outside Looking In:

The breath caught in his throat at the confirmation of everything Ryuuken had dreaded. Isshin had danced around the issue, the other Shinigami had said /nothing/ to him, just let him flounder and struggle, and here he was, hearing it /from his own son/. And now that he knew, the nagging sense of /wrongness/ about Uryuu straightened out with an almost physical /snap/, like a dislocated shoulder being set back into place.

The hair, the lines of his cheekbones, a slightly different shape to his eyes… even Uryuu’s eyebrows were slightly different. There were hints of Isshin in his boy now, and hints of Masaki, even if the majority was still him and Kanae.

And while I don’t mention it right there, mostly because Ryuuken assumes the change is a result of Uryuu being sick, but Uryuu’s voice is somewhat different too. The difference isn’t astounding, but combined with the changed appearance of Kaito vs Uryuu and the different pattern in their speech, most people wave off the similarity as a fluke.
