So. Listen it may seem like I Just got some inks but u see. It was my birthday and I got gifted two and also given money so...😈

Anyway people said they were interested in my fountain pen stuff so!

I got a teeny bottle of ferris wheel press leadcast letters, and a bottle of rohrer and klingners thea, because its been foggy lately and I love the colour of fog over the hedges in the countryside, its grey but its so specific and lovely.

I think I maybe needed to shake the thea ink more because the brown isn't really there, but it's still lovely! It's water resistant, so it's maybe not something I recommend putting in a pen, if you use it a lot and clean it out sometimes it'll probably be ok. (I put it in a pen but I also put carbon platinum in one and forgot about it 😅 and it was OK so im feeling brave)

Ferris wheel press is again dry as a bone, this is with flow aid, otherwise it comes out pale and thin. I really like this colour! It's got the slight brown and nuance I hoped for. I can't decide if it's cool or warm, it kinda depends!

I also debated getting the popular kakimori dip pen but to be honest 80 quid is not something I want to spend on a pen I don't know if I'll like. However! I did get a sailor fude de mannen (40 degree) for 15 quid and I love it 🥺🥺 its super cool, the flat angle gives a nice chisel stroke when I tilt, really fun for filling areas! If they made it in broad they could have my soul. I don't like pens that vary with pressure, so having it angle based instead is great.
