Andy (playing Una): I’d like to make a Monster Knowledge check. *rolls* 33.
DM: Wow, for a 33 you get to know all its stats and its life story too.

So I’ve been doing a casual Ancient Egyptian style D and D game as the DM for a little bit.
Well, one of the party members(half orc paladin) was getting restless and more or less demanded to go find some trouble. So I presented an easy plot hook about a missing girl, half expecting him to find out what happened, but not chase after her(she was bitten by a vampire, which leads to a bigger plot thread)
He immediately decides, with the back up from the other party members, “we gonna fight a goddamn vampire”.
Guess who just cleared out a vampire den consisting of 5 thralls and a Vampire Lord...at level 4.
I’m speechless.
I GOT TWO OF MY BOYS.
Good training with my boy Lennin today. I was so sweaty
“Onee-chan came home!”
Dungeons and Dragons
So we just completed our first campaign, The Rise of Tiamat. Like actually successfully did it, like Torm gave us a wish at the end. Nobody died as much as our DM tried. One of my characters has reached their life goal (a Kenku was gifted winged boots and is living life to the fullest). My other character almost died, but was brought back to life right before end game so they lived. They also are loving life thanks to a huge battle axe they were able to score off of an undead Minotaur. Overall, a great first experience. May all of your dice rolls be blessed lucky, and may Kigar smile upon you.
D&D moment Nr. 1: when your DM builds this really big and elaborate dungeon full of elementals guarding the keys to a door but he forgot about the rogue with the lock picking skills
