out of everyone in the show touga is definitely the first one to pick up on utena's repressed bisexuality. do you remember the episode where he needs her to duel him and lose so how he achieves this is by implying he might be her long lost prince then getting all up in anthy's space in a way that obviously causes utena to come running THEN trying to seduce utena IN FRONT OF ANTHY then implying anthy might not even like utena (false) but might just be doing whatever she thinks utena wants as a result of her role as the rose bride (true) which of course puts utena immediately on the defensive because she ultimately cares about anthy liking her more than she cares about her prince. but she does care about her prince enough to make her doubt herself and lose the duel. I've forgotten what my point even was. this was episode 11

so im watching farscape with my girlfriend and she said that crais giving the backhand to lt lorrell and telling her that he doesnt care about her is just to make her hate him because she already said in "into the lions den pt1" that it was easier for her to hate him than mourn him and he actually did it because he cares for her and now im crying
