Do people not get that Zelda's not just a Damsel in Distress? She doesn't come anywhere close to that in BOTW and even before that she was never just a DID. I feel like it's super sexist to say that just because she was at one point in captured and at someone else's mercy in most games makes her a damsel in distress and there would be no game in BOTW if she hadn't gone and FOUGHT Ganon. Like, she wasn't imprisoned, she was fighting him for a literal century. Jeez people.
I already answered this with another ask but Feminist Frequency tweeted that she was a DID (damsel in distress).
