Here's a good question:
Why would any father tell their daughter they'll end up in a body bag if they move to another state to live with a friend? It's ridiculous. Like, really? That was your first thought? That I was going to be murdered by someone I trust? What kind of asinine thinking is that? I trust this person. It feels like I've known her for years even though our time as friends has been shorter than that. I'm done with my family members. They know who they are and thank god they don't go on tumblr. I'm shutting them out completely now because I've had it. I will not stand idly by while they disrespect me to my face. Regardless of who you are respect is earned. Not just given because you're older than me and "have more experience" than me. I will not be someones doormat anymore. So I WILL still save up to move out of state and I WILL live with my friend who's not some crazed murderer. To my family if they ever see this, which they won't: FUCK YOU. EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU. To my friends and followers: I apologize if you were offended by my swearing and for the rant.
My tale -
Almost 3 years to the day I finished school, unlike the majority of my friends who chose to continue their educational paths into University. I decided to go straight into full time employment.
Fast forward 5 months, and I’m a severely unhappy person, not enjoying my job or where I see myself heading.
So I changed that, I applied for a Canadian Working Holiday Visa, booked my flight, sold my car, packed up my possessions and left.
The picture you see here is the day before my departure, 23rd April 2013. Now having spent very little time in the UK since this picture I have built up a catalogue of pictures, anecdotes and experiences.
