#GoodbyeTremont This is incredibly sad news. Tremont Music Hall is closing. It has been a staple of the Charlotte music scene for decades and one of the few places willing to give small unknown bands a chance. It is also the last all ages venue in town which hurts me even more. So many people went to their first shows here and played their first shows here and grew to love music through those experiences. Hopefully another all ages venue will pop up but with the ridiculous real estate market and consolidation of venue owners who knows if that will ever come true again. I didn't grow up in Charlotte but the importance of an all ages place is so vital to a growing music scene. Without those options in Atlanta where I grew up I wouldn't have become the person I am today. Thanks to John and everyone at Tremont for the hard work and dedication over the years. @tremontmusic
