Unprompted starter for @goodwltch
For as much of a pain as the last time she unexpectedly stopped was, at least the kid’s ship still remained in orbit— at least it still remained somewhere familiar period.
It had all happened so fast, one minute she was taking a little detour to visit some old friends and the next she knew her spaceship had been sent hurtling through a portal of some kind. Initially, she had believed it to be a wormhole of sorts, but as the unfamiliar woodland came ever closer it became apparent that was not the case.
Some tight maneuvering and a few flattened trees later, the kid’s shiphouse came to a bumpy landing. She sighed in relief, sliding from the pilot’s chair as the ship began to run a diagnostic on its condition. It would be a while before any noteworthy results would make themselves known, so a quick scope around the area seemed like the next best play– perhaps she could even get some information on where she’d landed, and hopefully how to return to a more familiar side of the galaxy.
Dropping out of the downed spacecraft, the little alien cringed at the shattered treetops leading to the crash site. Okay, maybe not as expertly piloted as she initially thought!
