Attention Chrome Users

If you use your bookmarks heavily (like I do) and you hate the new bookmark thing they're doing (like I also do), FEAR NOT!! You can switch it back to the old style. 

Open a new tab and type the following:

chrome://flags/#enhanced-bookmarks-experiment

Enable Enhanced Booksmarks should be at the top. (Mine is highlighted in yellow.) Change the dropdown box from Default to Disabled. 

At the bottom of the page, there is a button to Relaunch Chrome. (Or just close and reopen it.) And that should do it! No more oversaturated colors, difficult-to-read white text on pixelated photo backgrounds, no more wiggling moving bookmark boxes! A serious lifesaver when the words and images start vibrating off the screen. I know for me the updates rendered my bookmarks unreadable. So I hope this helps if you're having any of the same issues I am!
