ALRIGHT a bit off brand for me in any scenario but you guys don't know I'm actually an avid Dislyte player .. funky little gacha game I play on the daily and am not very good at. BUT IN AMY CASE I do love the lore and I do love. Ocs too so!
Character sheets be upon yee !!
Made primarily to make original characters, and to get info more organized about them. Styled around the game info as well!
SOME RULES
- okay first one is not quite a rule, but for usage! go to archive on PC, or file options on phone and select "Create a copy" from your desired sheet. From there on out go wild customizing! Don't ask for permission to edit the main archives 😭
- You can share the templates around with friends but please Don't erase the credits at the top! I worked hard on these :(
- Nor the resource page or at least the credits for it, shout-out to the dislyte wiki for making this possible !!
That's the basics for now! Feel free to use and a little example under the cut. Ty for your attention here !!
Here's an example on how I used it for an oc of mine teehee. I haven't tried it out in dark mode but light mode was the base for all of this , I'd recommend that one more. If you want to use fan made assets that are not yours always remember to credit as well!
And feel free to modify whatever too, it's free reign and go wild with creativity !
Edit: hi I'm chismoso saw a reblog tag. Art isn't necessary, you can add a character description inside the boxes where an image could be inserted !! Go wild 🕺
the first template i have decided to publish is stained (1.1) - a multi-muse doc template which captures the the very core of my aesthetic.
stained (1.1) offers a minimalistic dark colour scheme, with a simple layout, and is super easy to edit and customise. with a fully functional document outline system that allows you to navigate through your character’s easily, and see a full list of them simply by scrolling across, this doc is particularly good for people with a lot of characters (like me).
you can purchase this template here
alternatively, if you want to contact me about commissions, drop me a message me and we can plan something together!
Now that it’s 100% updated it should be significantly more workable in just about every way, I do still suggest making a Copy of the Digimon page for each Stage you have, so you can keep copies of every Stat.
I want to come forth and apologize for a lack of updates, but I’ve been hit hard by a massive amount of work, and with school cracking down on homework to the point that 60 hours of my week are entirely gone at this point, and I’m left very tired for the remaining hours. I understand people are disappointed, but I also hope they understand.
So it may not be until past the middle of May before I get back to a regular posting schedule, and I do apologize for that. In the meantime I’ll get right to updating the Handbook and Sheet page with this new link.
Arena Spotlight: Hokeo Aulani with a bonus surprise!
First and foremost I would like to thank Soaring for the work on our surprise here and for the idea with this Arena NPC. I don’t have any work of theirs to link, but they’ll most certainly be getting credited in the Handbook.
Behold: an Automated Google Docs Digimon and Tamer Sheet!
Note: it may be a bit off for Qualities that add raw Stats on the Digimon Sheet, you’ll have to punch those Stats in manually still which will give an incorrect view of the Total DP Spent.
But now onto the main thing! Soaring gave me a concept and I’m going to roll with it! This Tamer and his partner will show up in the Blackout Handbook!
Hokeo Aulani is a very rare first-generation Bit City citizen, but his parents originally hailed from Hawaii. There’s even some jokes that the Island Guy’s Digimon partner is none other than Dolphmon.
Hokeo Aulani is, despite his very casual and relaxed demeanor, is actually one of the best Agents of the Azure Shroud. Then again some speculate that it is PRECISELY his easygoing personality that aids him on more social missions, an approachable Agent is one who can worm the details out of a target!
One of Hokeo’s goals is to be sent out on an expedition of the Digital World Proper, mainly so that both himself and Dolphmon can go and just surf for a day or two. He wouldn’t complain about a vacation to a nice beach in the Human World either!
Hokeo and Dolphmon, despite their laid-back nature, also enjoy a good tussle at the Arena now and again, sometimes the best way to unwind is to let off some steam!
(No sheet for Hokeo as he is primarily meant to be a non-combat Tamer who only appears in the Arena. If you want to take the idea and give him a Sheet of his own, feel free!)
Note: Due to Players having vastly different amounts of Bonus EXP and DP after the first Dungeon is complete, in Blackout, Digimon will have the Base Stats for their Species as if they were Freshly Made (65 DP for Champions in this case, as Rookie starts at 25 then requires another 40 to hit Champion), and then a +X Template.
The +X Template will only work for raw Stats. The +X Template is a guideline to quickly add X To specific Stats for every 10 Bonus DP a Digimon has over the baseline, based on the Party’s Bonus DP.
For example if Dolpmon below has +3 Accuracy, +3 Dodge, +2 Health, and +2 Damage, that means that for every 10 Bonus DP the Party has (rounded down), Dolphmon will add that to it’s raw Stats. So if the Party has a whopping 40 Bonus DP past the Champion stage when the fight starts, Dolphmon gains +12 Accuracy, +12 Dodge, +8 Health, and +8 Damage.
The +X Template is only applied considering the Party’s Current Form. If the Party is at Rookie Level, having achieved say, 30 Bonus DP, Dolphmon does not gain any bonus DP, being at Champion Level itself automatically means it has 10 more DP at base than these Rookies would at +30.
Basically, only apply this Template if the Party would have their Digimon AT or ABOVE the Level that these Digimon are at, otherwise these will be opponents that they simply can’t beat. The +X Template also adjusts a Digimon’s AoE Size and Derived Stats.
“A unique signal that originated within software for researching communication between different kinds of groups changed into Dolphmon, a Digimon with a unique existence. Due to its habitat being limited to the sea, it became able to move about the sea at high speeds. As expected from its appearance, it possesses advanced intelligence, but its form of thought is too complex for a normal person to understand. Although it is a species that doesn't like useless battles, it won't go easy against an opponent that comes and challenges it.” - Dolphmon’s Wiki Page
Dolpmon is, judging by it’s Stats alone, a very bland and boring Digimon with a bit of emphasis on Dodging. But it’s Qualities and Attacks will give a whole different outcome if played out properly.
Dolphmon is a fan of “hit and run” tactics in combat, rushing in and out of range with it’s superb speed, then utilizing Agility and Counterattack in tandem to either hit hard with Pulse Blast, or make the enemy easy pickings with Bon Voyage.
The first round is very key with Dolphmon, thanks to Combat Awareness. You want to make the opponent try to attack you as soon as possible, generally by getting right up into their faces. If push comes to shove and you’re truly worried about Dolphmon missing with Counterattack in play at Melee Range, Dolphin Kick is still there to gain some solid distance between it and the attackers.
So, this may come as no surprise to most folks, but I’ve been wanting to create a Google Docs Character Sheet for humans and Digimon in an Autofill Spreadsheet format. So that one could say, type in their Tamer Stats and it will do the work for their Derived Stats for them, or the same with Digimon (with a few more dropdown menus for Size, Stage, and the like of course). Perhaps even a dropdown menu where you could list the Qualities a Digimon has and see how much DP it costs per Rank, and the Effect of the Quality with zero searching of the PDF.
Unfortunately I have the Xcel/Formula Writing skills of a braindead chinchilla. So I was curious if any one of the lovely folks who frequent this site might perchance have some experience in this field. I most unfortunately could not pay said individuals, but incentives I could think of are:
A guaranteed favorite Digimon of yours showing up in a Spotlight in the near future after the Spreadsheet is done.
An NPC and Partner Digimon you create showing up in the Blackout Campaign as an Arena Enemy (your choice as to whether it’s early, mid, or endgame skill levels).
A special thanks added to the last page of the DDA Handbook as well as a shout-out here on the main blog
I’ll be your internet hasubando for a day
If you’re interested, feel free to leave a note/response on this post! I’m also willing to share my Skype information with those who are interested in this job via PM to make this easier to coordinate.
This Job does not have to be done immediately, or even within the next month, I would however like it done by the end of the year if at all possible, again for those interested.
Sidenote: the Digimon Spotlight for this week will not be one of the ideas given on the last Ask, I did admittedly have this one planned ahead of time, but wanted ideas for the future. Hint: It’s an adorable pair of seasonally-appropriate Digimon Twins!
