Google laptop shows Apple a thing or two
Google laptop shows Apple
Google Thank you, Google. For obsoleting my MacBook.
Google – What two killer hardware skins are lost on Mac Books? My answer – a touch show and 4G.
What a chance. Just what Google is gift on the chrome book Pixel? And in a set that comes close to matching the MacBook’s aesthetics. (I’m fixing firm on the hardware for the mo.)
Google is saw, at least in the case of touch, hey Apple, you don’t get it.
Not one and all may approve with that. Take the CPU flat – earthers. They will say touch is unwise (or “pointless” as one writer said) on a laptop. Yeah right, just like the mouse was an unwise idea.
Then there’s Apple’s your arm wants to fall off on erect touch sides excuse. That will sooner or later give way to a touch – screen Mac Book of some sort. You heard it here first.
The point is, Google knows (they’re not stupid) that touch is important on a laptop. As does Microsoft (Windows 8 and Shallow). That leaves Apple in Luddite land.
4G: And some might say that a chrome book needs 4G more than a Mac Book as the chrome book is so deep in the cloud. Hmm, my MacBook spends lots of time in the cloud too. And the last time I used it on the road, I was always hauling out my Verizon MiFi or running down my iPhone’s set with the Personal Hotspot. Come on, LTE belongs in a laptop.
And the operating scheme? I believe that cool hardware is the first step in luring users to a new working location.
While Chrome OS is still a work in growth. With the success of Android, I do think it’s capable that a better Chrome OS joint with a 2nd age group Chrome book Pixel could reel in more clients.
Google indeed has my care.
