As you know, Google is actively preparing for it’s October 9 event. Today we got a chance to take a glance at Google’s first-party Smart Display with Google Assistant.
Thanks to the leaks from MySmartPrice we can now see the renders of yet another one Smart Display, now from Google themselves. The device will be named Google Home Hub and reportedly will be priced at $149.
The renders with a description show a 7-inch LCD touchscreen display with Google Assistant with a massive speaker on its base. According to the information page, the front of the device has a light and color sensor, but it surprisingly does not have a camera. This might be a very smart move for Google since a lot of people are concerned with a security aspect of having an all-time watching spy-machine, and it will also justify such a low price, comparing to its competitors like Lenovo and JBL, whos Smart Displayed are priced at the price range from $199 to $249.
Functionality-wise we expect to see the same package of visualized Google Assistant with smart notifications, weather reports, commute information, calendar reminders, and Smart Home integration.
The official presentation of Google Home Hub is expected on October 9th in New York “Unpacked” event.
