We all know about GP, right? World-famous, thin actress, blonde superstar who many people aspire to be like. But do we know about GOOP, and if we do know about GOOP, what do we know? Most people would answer that question superficially, stating that GOOP is a rip-off lifestyle and wellness brand that sells weirdly scented candles and vampire repellents and other useless products. We do not have the authority to fault anyone's opinion but, in the case of what Goop actually is, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to re-evaluate. I choose my words carefully here because goop is known to be the subject of many controversies in the past. It is bewildering to think this has been the case for Goop because one of their most important objectives is to operate from a place of curiosity and non-judgment. I can only agree with this manner of conduct because at the core of it all, wellness is a subjective thing that can be both personal and universal. This means there is no defined line to what is what in approaching wellness. It now becomes a question of personal preference or taste in informational sources. We could argue that most of the negative opinions about Goop come from its social standing. Most of the products they sell are very expensive, and they can tend to feel a bit unattainable at times. This does not change the fact that their information, articles, videos are free. If you approach their platforms with an open mind and heart, you will pick up on the well intent and absolutely life affirming ways other people find wellness. It is bound to inspire you and get you thinking about what wellness can be for you. What we value the most is that GOOP is one of the few companies focused on community and encouraging people to be happy.
