May I please ask about Goop and her babies? I haven't seen an update floating around.
Of course! I posted an update last October, which marked the year anniversary of the gooplets’ birth. I adopted two of the kittens ((Sweet) Link & (Hella) Zelda).
The other four kittens live with my mom and THEIR mom, Goop. We also found the kittens’ father, who had a severe ear infection and needed $300 worth of treatment. He is deaf and has balance problems, so he is strictly indoors with the kittens. Goop fought the transition to indoor cat, so she gets supervised outside time in the garden.
All of eight the cats (yes, all of them! We have a very reliable vet) have been spayed and neutered, including Mama Goop and Papa Pumpkin.
In related news, both of my gooplets have service greyhounds.
I adopted an elderly hound and Zelda has fallen in love with him. She sleeps with him every night – I cannot tell if Old Man Mickey tolerates her or genuinely loves her back, but he’s never protested.
Link, on the other hand, has a close bond with my female galgo, who drags him around like a sack of potatoes. If she lets go of him and walks away, he chases after her until she picks him up in her jaws again. They’re a weird pair.
