HI!!!! first of all let me just say this is a Super flattering message to get. bless you

second of all, votb is an abbreviation for VANGUARD OF THE BRAZEN, which is both the name of a d&d campaign and its main organization!! me & six other cool cats play a cast of gay fools while @idrils desperately tries to herd us in the direction of the plot

unfortunately it’s not like.....a podcast or anything like that, the only recordings we have are super raw audio i record with OBS during the sessions. we also only have SOME of the sessions and they’re not all in order bc i am a dunce person who sometimes enters a fugue state and forgets how to use computers. if we ever post any full session recordings though i’ll be sure to let you know!! i’d also be totally down to answer/get answers for any questions you might have!!!

You said that the beautiful Howl's Moving Castle screenshots reminded you of home, where is home to you? It must be absolutely beyond lovely!

mauritius, where i was born ! dont trust the whole ‘beaches of white sand and blue sea’ because while we do have that, the inside of the island is whats more interesting. the architecture is really diverse, but on the part where i was born, theres broken european style paved roads and brick houses all painted really colorful pink and blue and yellow, balconies with views on big hills and sugarcane fields, or small shanties hidden by litchi trees, constant people and deer walking between cars and bikes and buses with people sitting on the roof, adhans echoing in the air along with hindu prayer calls, with luxurious forests of european trees brought by the dutch along palm trees and coconut trees, they climb really high on the hills!

then again, i haven’t lived there in a long time and a lot of things have changed. when i went there last year, a lot of the forest that faces the seaside have been cut, so it was deserted, i think they started building vacation houses for tourists now. that’s life.

i really miss it though. its that one place i will forever be homesick for, even if i don’t belong there anymore
