i am trying to train our anxious rescue dog that does not like food or toys. really hard to motivate her. the only thing she's interested in is Being Close At All Times.

#also she has leash reactivity #very much hoping that she can settle in more and develop interest in treats so that we can work with her more easily #right now i just reward her with pets #when i was a teenager i did obedience with my family dog (a mix of breeds that are well known for trainability)#and i felt pretty good about being able to train a dog.#she's chill for a blue heeler at least #goosedog

also she's a great running bud. i know working dog breeds should be given a job and i plan to do casual canicross with her if i can convince her to lean into her harness.

#she doesn't pull because of the aforementioned desire to Be Close At All Times #i should have a tag for her #goosedog
