First off, I think we'd be fine with a Business man/ woman president, I don't like that so many of our politicians are lawyers. The only thing lawyers are good at doing is arguing, and lawyers never want to resolve anything as that would mean they're done being paid. They're paid to NOT resolve, if things ended they'd have to go find new clients. Today, solid majorities of Americans support gay rights, legal abortion, and women in combat, yet the Republicans are still stuck in the stone ages opposing even very basic things, trying to roll us back to pre-world war 2. That’s 33 attempts to scrap health reform without offering a single idea on how to replace the law and still make coverage affordable and more secure. No ideas, no nothing, just big sessions of Congress to vote "NO" 33 times, losing each time. How many job bills did they bring forth? Zero. How many other health plan initiatives? Zero. Before Universal Health Care insurance companies could deny health care to people with pre-existing conditions.
