YALL I HAVE SO MUCH TO SAY!

I have had a buttload of homework to do all freaking week and am just now getting caught up in my NHL news!

THE SUCKY DUCKYS ARE OFFICIALLY ELIMINATED (as of Sunday)!!! To all my girlies who are ducks fans, I am sorry. But- I’m happy :) that’s all I can say. We all know how much I can’t stand the ducks (and zero hate to my girlies who are fans!!) so this brightened my day!

Anyways, I also saw a post that said the Penguins have a shot at winning the cup this year and I literally laughed out loud. They do not have a single chance- and I’m okay with that. I am beyond okay with that to be honest.

Also! Even though the Bruins are my freaking TEAM- part of me is really hoping the Nucks bring it home this year! Mostly because of Quinn and how he has just stepped up into leadership with so much tact and grace- I love him. So much. And I’m so proud of him!! I just think it would be a perfect ending to the best season for him (that and the Norris 🤩🤩) so anyways… yeah.

Love you guys! Don’t miss the Hockey East semis and final tonight and tomorrow!!!

I never thought I would be cheering for the Blackhawks but then they had to go and sign 2 Gophers in a week… I do love them. It kills me to want the Blackhawks to do well… but for Oliver Moore and Sam Rinzel, I will.

JIMMY IS A BLUE!!!!

As absolutely crushed that we didn’t make it past the first round in Nationals this year… I am so happy for Jimmy and so excited to see what he does in St. Louis! I was shocked when he came back for year 3, but it was so good to get to watch him for another year in the Minnesota maroon.

Jimmy, from everyone in Gopher nation, we are so proud of you and are so excited to cheer you on (unless it’s against our teams).

Hot take Gophers fans…

Maybe it’s time to let Bob go.. it’s been 7 years since he took over, and we’ve come close and have ALWAYS missed it. Tonight’s game is proof of this.

I’m hopeful but not optimistic with our chances of winning the Natty this year. If we lose, or worse, don’t even make it to the frozen four, then my point becomes even stronger.

I love this team, win or lose. I just know that we’re seriously missing our full potential.

I’ve been seriously contemplating how to approach this topic of conversation.

So, yes of course I know that Jackson LaCombe is on the Ducks. Yes, obviously I know that he is a former Gopher. And yes, I am determined to both cheer for him and cheer against the Ducks. How it’s going to go- I refuse to cheer for the Ducks, once again, especially after what they did to Jaime (who, btw, besides being injured right now is thriving in Philly)!

So, for those wondering, what is where I stand on the LaCombe/Ducks situation. And I am prepared if, for some tragic reason, more Gophers go to the Ducks in future years.

Mans I playing a SOLID game in the arena series against the Islanders!! We love to see gopher alumni go on to have solid NHL careers, and MY GUY Ryan is never talked about my goodness! He deserves more hype- come at me and we’ll fight about it! And I’m not even that big of a Rangers fan but as we all know… gopher supremacy ACROSS THE FREAKING BOARD!
