The bio of Posey's character for the movie read "The definition of Suck" and "cover you drinks ladies" yikes at his character. It also said "Barks at the moon" a little teen wolf reference

yep, that’s why his character is so so dead.  u can’t fight horror movie tropes where those of impure morality are destined for brutal death.
