Górecki 3

Górecki 3 is hauntingly, heartbreakingly beautiful. It is some of the saddest music I have ever listened to and never fails to make me cry - especially the opening of the second movement. Górecki wrote this masterfully, with the somewhat medieval orchestra parts combining so well with the solo soprano voice.
