UK proposal to increase the monitoring on people
The UK government will soon propose a new law to force the Service Providers to keep records of e-mail exchanges and phone calls made by the customer.
Those information will be then available to the Government under request.
Quote from the article:
"Communications data includes time, duration and dialling numbers of a phone call, or an email address. It does not include the content of any phone call or email and it is not the intention of Government to make changes to the existing legal basis for the interception of communications."
