because of the move and I haven’t been that active, I’v been sitting on the idea of trying to finish or at least make significant progress on my Pikaia merman doll for mermay
but I’m not sure if that’s a realistic goal or not at this point *shrug*

I've had a rough week, it has sucked. Like, undertow riptide levels of suckage.
First, before we got the keys, I stepped on an upturned nail. Which I’ve mentioned before? Fun fun. Was fortunate that it wasn't very deep, but the risk of infection had me paranoid since. Though as it was about a week ago so I think I'm okay.
Somewhere in there I managed to scratch my mom's Luna nice and deep as I was making a doll form for it. UUghhhh. Got some super-fine sandpaper but I still haven't been able to bring myself to try and fix it yet. As being impatient is what got me into this mess. (had been waiting for a coat of paper mache to dry on the cave I'm making and still wanted to work on something doll related with her) And I don't know if that's going to be enough. *headdesk*
And ~yesterday~. It was a rough start with a medical issue I have flaring up and the dogs were determined to be troublemakers. Yet actually managed to recover my mood (shock/surprise) for moving more stuff over to the new place. But when partner and I went to my grandmothers to pick up some boxes I had in storage, we found at least three-quarters of them had been water and mold damaged. Still haven't sorted through everything as I need to dig the rest out, but it looks like I'm going to be losing quite a bit.
And today, the gauge for my fuel tank has decided it needs to move all over the place and not actually tell me how much gas I've got while doing some other errand running and bill payments. Woooo, add that to my list of car woes. As during all this heavy-hauling my vehicle is starting to list to one side.
Sprinkle in some light migraines here and there to top it all off with a thin drizzle of ideation. Stick a fork in me I am done. One fully-cooked gorgonopsid over here, order up.

You’re so lucky! I’d love a Dablyops or a Ceryops...
I’ve got a Ceryops too. :D She was my first doll, and I would’ve taken pictures with her too only only she’s disassembled right now. I’ve been in love with dinosaurs ever since I was little so I reasoned that even bjds weren’t for me at least I’d still of a nice dino themed figure.
And I did feel really lucky to snag my Dablyop when the artist was clearing out their stock. With how small their runs have been, I thought it’d be years before I got one.

ohh! exitingi love little doll house projects :)...
It’s getting really close to it’s final paper layers, I’ve got some plain brown packing paper that’s going on last so that painting is easier. Was able to get another regular newspaper layer on today and I’ve got my fingers crossed that it dries well and good by tomorrow.
