These badass cuties.
MY 15 FAVORITE MOMENTS IN LESSON 439:
Moment 1: Ginko being a total dick to Tenko (but I still thought it was super adorable).
Moment 2: In that form, I’m sure even Goriko’s ass hairs were beautiful. He was so full of gorillaness he probably had plenty to spare to his ass hairs.
Moment 3: The Mansengumi all becoming total sadists.
Moment 4: I love that the Mansengumi were covering for the Yorozuya. So sweet.
Moment 5: Omg, their kimonos...cuteness overload. I wanted a spin-off featuring this lovely trio.
Moment 6: Violently adorable.
Moment 7: I just love that no matter what form they’re in, their interactions remain the same. Warms my heart.
Moment 8: I was just happy they ran off alone together, regardless of the reason.
Moment 9: I DIED. YAMAZAKI IS SO FREAKING CUTE. THE POMPOM PONYTAILS. OMGGGG.
Moment 10: I LOVE HER.
Moment 11: Honestly, my heart just ached for Jyuubei, seeing how easily Tae-chan was falling for him just because he was now a man.
Moment 12: It’s an old trick but in this case, totally still romantic.
Moment 13: These two creepers being super jelly.
Moment 14: Strangely, that’s just about how I expected Otose and Catherine to look as men. What I didn’t expect was Ginko and Tenko trying to pick them up.
Moment 15: Sacchan Ayao-kun and Tsukky Tsukuo-kun transforming into total bishonens.
SHIPS TALLY:
Ginko x Tenko: even though they’ve become a yuri pair, I still ship them. They are still as cute as ever together and I still felt the love.
Souko x Kagura Dun: Souko gravitated straight toward Kagura Dun. I refuse to believe they’re not bound by the red string of Fate.
Jyuubei x Otae: even though I ship KonTae way more, I have to admit, for Jyuu-chan’s sake, I really wished that they would somehow end up together. At this point, I hoped Kyuubei would just stay as Jyuubei permanently.
Pachie x Otae, Goriko x Jyuubei: self-explanatory. I think I could get on board with one of these pairs, even if it’s a bit of a crack pairing. They do make a gorgeous couple and if they produce offspring, most likely they wouldn’t have any genetic defects due to inbreeding.
Ginko x Tenko x Souko: hell, I was already on board with this 3TP when they were all males, them being females now makes no difference to me. Still cute.
Disclaimer: Gintama is not only about shipping. Gintama is hilarious, clever, exciting, poignant, heart-breaking, loving, brilliant, and just so freaking amazing. It is only due to Sorachi-sama’s generosity that I can enjoy Gintama on yet another level, the shippy level, and I am forever grateful for that. GINTAMA IS LIFE AND LOVE.
