with ahsoka's hands tightly wrapped around hers, such an open display of affection, marya's cheeks burn bright red. truth be told, she has had very few interactions with someone her own age... let alone another girl. it is very easy to feel out of place when surrounded by jedi, for they tend to forget that not all can sense the force the way they do. she has never felt like an outsider when with ahsoka, and for that, she is sad the padawan must leave for her next assignment. ❛ i wish you could stay longer, but i understand. ❜ marya works to keep her voice light, working through the cotton taste in her mouth. they have their own paths, she knows this. ❛ be safe out there. i would love to hear all about your adventures when you return. ❜ a squeeze of the hands back. a soft plead.
